Why the campaign and why the American Cancer Society?
Cancer has affected us all. Permabilt® has been affected by cancer in many ways; we’ve lost customers to cancer, we’ve lost employees to cancer, and our staff has lost family and friends to cancer. Those that haven’t lost someone they love to cancer have unilaterally been affected by it in some way.
Our goal here is to raise awareness about cancer and the fine work of The American Cancer Society. The ACS is the largest, private, non-profit source of funds for scientists studying cancer. Further, they fund education, prevention, support & treatment for those living with cancer.
What can you do? You can help by ‘liking’ us on Facebook, share this on your Facebook page, donate to the ACS directly, and/or participate in one of the many community events which support the ACS.
